Welcome to Coton Green Pre-School!
We are an Ofsted registered Pre-School Nursery which is based in a purpose built building on the site of Coton Green Primary School. Our nursery has been established for over 40 years, moving from the community centre to the school site in 2008. We are a charity led setting with a volunteer committee of parents who oversee the running of the nursery. We encourage and welcome parents to join the committee!
The nursery is a member of Pre-School Learning Alliance and received their quality accreditation award in 2008. We were also winners of Nursery World ‘Enabling Environments’ award in 2011!
All staff have safeguarding, first aid and food hygiene training. We use the EYFS framework to track children’s development progress and plan appropriate activities based on their age, stage and interest's. We encourage parents input and welcome ideas to enhance children's learning.
Once your child has settled we provide parents/carers access to view the observations and assessments through the online learning journal system. We also hold parent/carer open afternoons for parents and carers to discuss their child’s development with their key worker. In addition to this we often have activity sessions for parents,grandparents or other family members close to the child to come and spend some time in the setting. These usually run for a whole week during the morning and afternoon sessions.

Our Classes
Children start their learning journey with us in our toddler room, a calm and neutering space for 2-3 year old's. When they are ready to make the transition, children move to our pre-school room; a welcoming stimulating environment for 3-4 year old's. See our admissions and fees page for more information.
